Check Out This Catch !

This monster cod was caught on a fishing rod just outside the island Sotra, Norway.

Wednesday afternoon was Henry Hagelin on a fishing trip outside Sotra.

Hagelin produce their own jig , and should test them when he got heavy response.

- It was a real though one . The fish went to the bottom three or four times after the bite , but I managed to get it up eventually with the help of a large landing net , he tells BA.no.

The cod that had been on the hook weighed 26.2 kilograms , according to Hagelin . It was just on the limit of what he could manage.

- The line I use is estimated up to 27 kilo. So I was lucky this time, "he said.

Hagelin has already tasted the monster cod .

- It tastes great both salted and roasted , he says.
